Privacy
Last updated June 2026
Short version: I collect almost nothing, I don't sell your information, and the analytics on this site only run if you say yes. Nothing that tracks you loads before you choose. The full version is below, in plain English.
What this covers
This is the privacy policy for dannyavila.com, the personal and agency site for Danny Avila (Danny Avila Agency), based in Vista, California. It explains what happens to your information when you visit the site or reach out, and the choices you have, including specific rights for California residents.
Information I collect
It falls into two simple buckets.
When you contact me. If you email me through a link on this site, I get whatever you send: your name, your email address, and whatever you write. I use it only to reply and to talk about working together. I don't add you to a marketing list or sell it to anyone.
When you browse. If you accept analytics (see below), the site uses Google Analytics to understand how people use it, such as which pages get visited, roughly where visitors come from, and which device and browser they use. If you decline, none of that loads. Either way, the server that hosts the site keeps standard access logs for security and reliability.
Cookies and your consent
When you first arrive, you'll see a banner asking whether you're okay
with analytics. Nothing that tracks you runs until you click
Accept. If you accept, Google Analytics sets a small number of
cookies (named things like _ga) to recognize repeat visits
and measure usage. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and
Google Analytics never loads.
You can change your mind anytime. Use the "your privacy choices" link in the footer of any page to bring the banner back and switch your choice. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, I treat that as a decline automatically and don't load analytics at all.
Google Analytics, specifically
Google Analytics is a measurement tool run by Google. When it's enabled by your consent, Google processes the usage data on my behalf and under its own privacy terms. It helps me see what's working on the site so I can make it better. It does not get the contents of any message you send me. You can read Google's practices at policies.google.com/privacy.
California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request a copy or deletion of it, to correct it, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of it. Using analytics that involve a third party like Google can count as "sharing" under California law, which is exactly why this site asks for your consent first and honors Global Privacy Control.
To opt out: decline on the consent banner, use the "your privacy choices" link in the footer, or browse with Global Privacy Control turned on. To make any other request (know, delete, or correct your information), email me at dannyavilamedia@gmail.com and I'll handle it. I won't treat you differently or charge you anything for exercising these rights.
What I don't do
I don't sell or rent your contact information. I don't share what you email me with third parties for their own marketing. The only tracking on the site is the consent-based analytics described above. If that ever changes, this page changes first, and I'll say so clearly.
The tools behind the site
A few trusted services help run things. The site is hosted and served through Cloudflare, which keeps it fast and secure. Usage measurement, when you allow it, runs through Google Analytics. Email runs through Google Workspace. Each has its own privacy practices and only ever sees what's needed to do its job.
