Text messaging
Last updated July 2026
Short version: my agency runs business phone lines for its local lead programs. When a customer texts one of those lines, the message gets relayed to the person who handles that work, someone who agreed to receive it. No marketing texts, no cold texts, and nobody's number is ever sold or shared.
What this covers
This is the text messaging (SMS) policy for Danny Avila Agency (Daniel Avila), based in Vista, California. The agency operates local business phone numbers for its home-service lead programs and its own internal tools. This page explains what texts those numbers send, who receives them, how consent works, and how to make them stop.
What messages get sent
Lead notifications. When a customer calls or texts one of our business numbers, we relay that inquiry to the registered service partner who handles that trade, or to me. A typical message looks like: "New text to Bright Pro Electric from (555) 123-4567: Can you quote a ceiling fan install?"
Account notifications. Reminders and status updates that my own internal tools send to me, the account owner. Task reminders, that kind of thing.
Customer confirmations. If you text one of our business numbers, you may receive a short confirmation that your message was received and someone will follow up. That's it. We don't send customers promotions, newsletters, or anything you didn't ask for.
Who receives texts, and how they opt in
Only two groups receive recurring texts from these numbers: service partners and me. Service partners agree in writing to receive customer inquiries for their trade and provide their mobile number directly to us as part of that agreement. That consent is collected person to person and documented before the first message is ever sent. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of any purchase, and we never buy contact lists or text anyone who hasn't asked to hear from us.
Frequency and rates
Message frequency varies with customer inquiry volume. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.
Stopping messages and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. You'll get one final confirmation that you've been unsubscribed, and then nothing else. Reply HELP for help, or reach me through the contact form and I'll sort it out personally.
Privacy
No mobile phone numbers, text message contents, or SMS opt-in consent records are shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. A customer message is relayed only to the service partner handling that specific request, and nowhere else. The rest of how I handle your information is covered in the privacy policy.
