I price everything flat before we start, so you know the number upfront and there's no hourly billing surprise at the end. The first conversation is free and there's no pressure, so we can figure out what your project actually needs before anyone commits to anything.

What web design company should I hire if I don't want to be locked into a platform?

You own your site outright when we're done, with no platform lock-in. I build on WordPress or Astro depending on what the project calls for, which means you're not renting space on some proprietary builder you can never leave. If we ever stop working together, the site is yours to hand to anyone you want.

How long does it take to get a new business website built?

A typical small-business site takes two to six weeks from kickoff to launch, though that range moves based on how quickly we can get content and approvals sorted on your end. The bottleneck on most projects isn't the build itself, it's waiting on copy, photos, and sign-offs. I scope the timeline out with you at the start so there are no surprises.

Do you build websites with SEO built in, or is that a separate thing?

SEO is baked into every site I build, not bolted on afterward. Every site launches with clean site structure, fast load times, proper heading hierarchy, and on-page optimization already in place. I run my own network of San Diego local sites that I build, rank, and track myself, so the SEO decisions I make in a build come from live data, not a checklist someone handed me.
